Aluminum

Like stainless steel, with the appropriate technique and expertise, aluminum isn’t difficult to weld. When welding aluminum, it’s important to ensure that the correct grade is chosen. Certain grades, like in the 1XXX series are welded easily, but grades in the 2XXX series aren’t usually weldable. 

It’s also important to take into account the material’s strength when welding aluminum. Certain aluminum alloys, like T6 designation, have been artificially aged and will be weak when welded.
